Mr. Potter's Backyard History Class provide an animated walking tour of Ida

Jeremy Potter’s Backyard History Class at Ida Middle School gave Ida history tours for the 2^nd grade classes since that fits right in with their study of communities. Students were dressed in period costumes and reenacted the characters they portrayed from Ida’s past. Students learned about the railroad that ran from Ida to Monroe that you could ride for 25 cents and the history of many residents and buildings from the past.
